LHH is working with a manufacturing company in the Arlington area that is adding a new Senior Financial Analyst to their team. This role is instrumental in their financial planning and analysis efforts, supporting various functions including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to evaluate product and customer profitability, contribute to new product development economics, and identify portfolio growth opportunities. You'll play a pivotal role in the treasury function, assisting with cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis. Your responsibilities will extend to providing financial insights and strategic support to our senior management team, aiding in presentations, capital expenditure analysis, and other key projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly FP&A analysis, including profitability assessment and variance tracking.
• Provide insights on historical financial data to identify growth opportunities.
• Streamline reporting processes and automate KPIs.
• Evaluate customer marketing programs and assess capital spending ROI.
• Assist in cash flow reporting and budget variance analysis.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead special projects to support organizational objectives.
• Identify business improvement opportunities across various functions.
• Support M&A due diligence and post-transaction integration efforts.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with database management and modeling.
• Previous experience in Consumer Product Goods (CPG) and manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with Essbase, Oracle, or MicroStrategy is a plus.
