We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Apex, NC team. You will plan, direct and coordinate project activities for our Pool and Spa products in order to ensure project goals are accomplished within the approved Scope, Schedule, and Budget. You will: Own timely execution of programs and projects with cross functional teams. Lead cross functional project teams to design, develop, test, and redesign existing products. Chair project meetings with a focus on scope control, schedule updates, budget tracking, and risk management throughout the life of the project. Responsible for managing medium to large scale, technically complex, New Product Development and or Value Engineering projects that may include some portfolio oversight. Leads with a strong sense of independence and autonomy but guided by cooperative collaboration with senior subject matter experts. Leads project teams from concept (ideation) to post release with strong sense of urgency, utilizing company product launch process (stage-gate). This may include the facilitation of development brainstorming Kaizen events, and post-launch activities intended to support a smooth transition into production. Provide input into process improvements and new processes, systems, or operational plans in support of business strategies. Project Scope may include design and development of hardware (including injection molded tooling and parts), PCBA electronics, connected products hardware, Software Development (SW), and/or Web & Mobile Applications (iOS/Android). Key Qualifications: B.S. degree in Engineering, or other technical discipline, from an accredited institution (MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus). Project Management education: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable. 7-10 years leading cross-functional project teams and programs aligned with strategic objectives. 5 years of engineering design or manufacturing experience in a med-high volume production, product development environment. 5 years of managing project teams developing consumer product products that may include hardware and with embedded firmware, software, and App is desirable. Experience working with, developing, or managing the development of consumer mobile Apps (iOS/Android) as related to hardware deployment is highly desirable.
