Production Support Associate

We are looking to employ a detail-oriented production support associate to improve data collection, reporting and production management. The production support associate’s responsibilities include reports for production data, data review for integrity, inventory management support, communication with shop floor relating to issues and variances, monitoring of production standards to actual, and backup to some production functions.

To be successful as a production support associate, you should be well-versed in Microsoft Excel and data processing/analysis. Knowledge of the production process and variance analysis required. Ultimately, an exceptional production support associate should demonstrate strong data analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that production operations run smoothly.

Production Support Associate Responsibilities:

• Collect and review various daily/weekly/monthly production data.
• Support production team with various tasks as needed.
• Communicate with shop floor employees and supervisors regarding data recorded.
• Analyze and manipulate data for presentation to management and production team.
• Highlight and communicate identified issues to management and production team.
• Audit process flow for consistency and improvement.
• Backup for purchase order processing and shipping functions.
• Compile status/performance reports and submit to management in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality control and other staff as needed.

Production Support Associate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, managerial accounting, or similar field preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of direct experience in a production environment preferred
• Strong Excel skills including college courses required (Pivot tables, charting, reports, Visual Basic/macros, etc).
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using an ERP system preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to details required.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Prolonged periods standing/working on production floor

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Salary: 50,000-52,000 ( monthly profit sharing bonus (starts at $6,000 annually))

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
