Job Description:
ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is a Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.
We are immediately hiring a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, for our Aliquippa Manufacturing facility. Duties include the inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials along with finished product testing.
The working hours for this position will be either 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. The shifts are steady and do not rotate. The starting salary for this position will be $18.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and test raw materials and finished products daily.,
- Working Knowledge of test methods, processes, and laboratory equipment for raw material, liquid and finished products.
- Responsible for the inspection/preventative maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
- Communicate nonconforming product
- Accurately record and report test data in laboratory database system (Infinity QS)
- Participate with lab coverage and internal/external audits.
- Keep the lab clean and professional in appearance and functionality.
- Assist in collecting routine and non-routine product samples
- May have to travel to support QC testing at other plants.
