We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client in Akron, Ohio!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of customer relationships!
Job Title: Customer Service Representative/Data Entry
Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $18/hr
Shift: First Shift - Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders, Inbound /Outbound Manifests, and labels.
- Maintains correspondence with customers.
- Maintains receipts, invoices, and documents.
- Answer the telephone.
- Resolve warehouse discrepancies and provide backup, as needed.
- Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Examines records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in data entry, data verification, or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software, preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
