Job Description

A storeroom attendant, helps manage and maintain inventory in a warehouse or storeroom. Their responsibilities include:

Receiving and processing: Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and equipment
Storing and issuing: Storing and issuing items, including new, returned, and reclaimed items
Tracking and recording: Keeping records of inventory, including incoming and outgoing items, and updating databases
Conducting inventory: Conducting physical inventories on a regular basis and verifying inventory records
Maintaining order: Ensuring the storeroom is clean and orderly, and organizing stockroom shelves
Ordering and restocking: Ordering materials to restock the storeroom and maintain minimum inventory levels
Distributing: Distributing materials based on requisition form

About You:

• At least 4 years of Professional Experience as a Lead Server, Captain, Matre d', or in another capacity in a club, restaurant, or another hospitality establishment.
• At least 3 years Professional Experience running a Wine Program are preferred.
• Specialized training in Wine Industry is preferred.
• College degree or 6 years in the wine industry. Culinary and/or hospitality management emphasis is preferred.
• Certified graduate of an accredited Sommelier or Beverage Management Program to demonstrate advanced knowledge and interest in wine/beverage industry preferred.
• Maintain Sommelier Certification through continued education over specific intervals throughout career.
• CARE and CPR Certifications are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
