CACI is looking for a Policy Analyst for their Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD location.
What You’ll Get to Do:
This position supports the Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) Exception to Policy (ETP) Review Board and includes tasks such as: Evaluate UAS ETP requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and clarity of provided information as well as compliance with applicable policies and industry best practices, conduct basic open-source research of UAS components to identify factors relevant to the UAS ETP approval process, operate and maintain historical databases on UASETP requests, coordinate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain recommendations on technically relevant portions of ETP requests, exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying appropriate policy, and make recommendations to the UAS ETP Board based in support of the ETP request process.

Work closely with board members to optimize the review process
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
Apply knowledge and experience in reviewing and evaluating ETPs.
Ability to ensure ETPs meet policy requirements.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills in order to efficiently and accurately review UAS ETP requests and maintain UAS ETP tracking system.
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, tactful, and effective manner when engaging with UAS ETP board members and customers, as well as branch and division leadership
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Experience auditing regulatory compliance
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software
Comfort in discussing and learning about technical topics such as computers, radios, and UAS
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Experience with UAS/remotely piloted vehicles
Technical understanding of computer systems, networks, and software
Working knowledge of or experience with DoD policies to include Executive Orders and National Defense Authorization Acts related to IT systems; cybersecurity; cyber mitigations; and uncrewed systems (UxS) operation
Experience with cybersecurity concepts, practices, and techniques
