Great Oaks Landscaping is looking for a Landscaping Manager!

As our Landscaping Manager, you will be responsible managing all installation & construction projects. This includes patios, outdoor fire elements, steps, retaining walls, irrigation systems, LED lighting and plant installation projects. In addition to project management responsibilities, this role has direct supervisory responsibility for installation crews and foremen. This position also serves as the manager for our snow event crews in the winter months.

This full time, year around role, that will be based at our office in Zion, IL. This location is easily commutable from the northern suburbs of Chicago and from areas just over the Wisconsin border.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for the Landscaping Manager is $70,000 - $100,000. In addition, the role is eligible for our benefits package including health stipend, simple IRA, paid time off, paid holidays, use of a company vehicle during the days and a cell phone stipend.

Requirements for role include:

• 3 years of experience in installation of landscape construction projects including patios, steps, fire pits, planting, lighting elements, setting grades and addressing water movement
• 3 years leading crews including scheduling, coaching, developing and ensuring high quality work products
• 2 years experience as a project manager in the landscape industry
• 2 years experience developing and maintaining a rolling schedule to ensure budgets and timelines for all projects
• Experience tracking project timelines and documenting progress in landscape project management software
• Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus!

How you’ll spend your days:

• Developing and executing landscape projects including developing timelines, ordering materials, organizing crew members, communicating with clients
• Creating 3 week rolling schedule for all crew members
• Coaching and developing crew members and foremen to ensure quality outcomes
• Visiting projects on a daily basis to track results, ensure quality and communicate with clients
• Coordinating all crew members and routes for a full commercial snow removal division
