AZ - We are a well-established, 2 doctor, full service small animal hospital providing care to dogs and cats. We have a diverse team with a variety of experiences and skill sets. It is vital we work together and take initiative to help each other where needed for the best of our patients. Our team promotes a safe environment to not only ask questions but voice your opinion. About You:
• Credentialed veterinary technician or recent graduate from AVMA accredited technical College (with plans to take VTNE)
• Previous veterinary experience of > 3 years preferred
• Lead Technician experience with strong coaching abilities.
• Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include placing IV Catheters, phlebotomy, Injections, Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring, perioperative surgical nursing etc).
• Passionate about growth and development
• Positive attitude and TEAM Player personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptable to the demands of the day
• Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations
