JOB DESCRIPTION
Director of Youth Ministries will be responsible for leading, coordinating and implementing all aspects of ministry with Middle and High School youth (6th to 12th). Primary responsibilities will include Sunday Youth Fellowship, Sunday School, Worship participation, Mission and Service ventures, Summer Church Camp, Youth Week, and Staff meetings.
Successful applicant will have a background in and understanding of United Methodist theology and work well with other staff and volunteers as part of a team. Some combination of youth ministry education, training and experience required. Excellent communication and organization skills a must. Position reports to the Senior Pastor, Youth Council and other teams as required.
COMPENSATION AND HOURS
Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and agreed time commitment. Paid vacation, sick leave and any other benefits will be in accordance with the personnel policies of FUMC Yukon. Being half-time or less, this position will not qualify for health benefits.

Pay: $15,000.00 - $18,000.00 per year
