We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring efficient and high-quality dental care for our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring accurate and clear images
- Perform dental charting and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, anticipating their needs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
- Assist with dental lab tasks, including pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, restocking as needed
- Utilize Dentrix or similar practice management software to schedule appointments and update patient information

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-ray certification required; additional certifications such as CPR or DANB certification a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Dentrix or similar software for scheduling and recordkeeping
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a sterile environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and team members
