Job Summary:
Preferred Care at Home of Westchester and Putnam is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team in Yorktown Heights, New York. The Caregiver will work on an hourly basis, providing essential activities of daily living needs to our clients in the comfort of their own home. This position offers a competitive compensation rate of $17 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly.

We have a variety of part-time or full-time positions available. We also offer bi-weekly pay with direct deposit!
Opportunities are available in Yorktown Heights, Jefferson Valley, and Somers area.
Responsibilities:
- Companionship and Homemaker services
- Help with housekeeping and household chores, such as laundry, meal preparation, and light cleaning
- Provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
- Document and report any changes in the client's condition
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the client's safety and well-being
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to provide updates on care and address any concerns
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Home Health Aide certification Or Personal Care Aid Certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related role
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred).
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references
