Duties:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to move materials and products
- Perform order picking and packing tasks to fulfill customer orders
- Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving purposes
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by OSHA
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience operating a forklift or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to operate a variety of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, lift trucks, and hi-lo machines
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management purposes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment
