Maintenance Technicians are responsible for timely repairs to equipment to ensure production can run with little or no interruption. Also, responsible for repairs to the facility as directed.

• Handles necessary electrical installations, fabrications, and repairs, as well as mechanical repairs within the Plant and on equipment
• Accounts for materials and parts used on the job by logging them into the inventory usage logbook.
• Becomes familiar with all plant equipment
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work, as needed
• May be required to attend outside training
• Responsible for following Company and government policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, food safety, equipment and area sanitation, food security, plant security, etc.
• Adheres to common safety practices, including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.
• Performs other assignments as assigned by the Production Manager or Operations Manager

• Must be able to read and follow schematics and design basic electrical control circuits
• Must have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Capable of handling all aspects of programing, troubleshooting down to component levels of Hayssen packaging equipment
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to perform all levels of maintenance
• Good communication skills.

• Night shift
