Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This is a rewarding role that requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing quality care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is respected at all times

Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Understanding of child care principles and techniques
- Ability to lift and assist with transfers as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
