Jenny Park is a clothing store for women, teens and children (2T-6) featuring apparel, accessories, shoes, bags, and jewelry from European, Australian and U.S. designers. Located along Main Street in the heart of Yarmouth, Maine. Jenny Park is hiring a part-time retail associate who is friendly, comfortable posting on social media, and has a good sense of style. No retail experience necessary. Flexible schedule, shifts are 10am-5pm, Monday through Saturday. Position starts in July.

Duties

• Greet customers and assist them in finding products
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking racks and arranging displays
• Create and post content on social media featuring store inventory items
• Assist the owner in coordinating and hosting private shopping events
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Must be 18 years or older

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
