Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a Glass manufacturing company in Wyoming, MI. and we are looking to temp-to-hire a maintenance technician on 1st shift. Candidates must have interests in learning/performing Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic repairs along with some facilities maintenance. Recent college grads or candidates with entry level experience are welcome to apply!
Maintenance Specialist Benefits/Compensation:

• $20-22/hour
• 1st Shift: 6a - 2:30p OR 1st shift: 7a to 3:30p

Maintenance Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assure on time startup of assigned lines
• Work with team leader to address ongoing concerns
• Maintain equipment in a safe manner
• Assist in maintaining cost control by efficient use parts
• Responsible for the preventative maintenance of all assigned plant equipment, including service, repair or replacement of gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, etc.
• Completing daily work orders as assigned and updating work reports outlining progress and new issues
• Maintaining proper order and function of storage rooms, supplies, equipment, and tools
• Acting as project coordinator on maintenance and repair projects

Maintenance Specialist Qualifications:

• General mechanical aptitude normally acquired through high school or college course work or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite
• Verbal and written communication skills; professional and courteous in dealing with staff, clients, and vendors
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables
• Strong work ethic and take deep pride in work
• Must be a team player committed to working collaboratively with colleagues
• Exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to quality
