Summary:
As a Seafood Processor, you will properly process various species of seafood, ensuring maximum use and yield of product. In addition, consistently maintain a high production pace in all areas of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and grade product.
- Sort and separate products by species, size, quality, or color.
- Clean product.
- Place product in containers or on conveyors.
- Remove or pick debris or product from the conveyor.
- Sanitize work area and equipment.
- Properly package product.
- Properly sort and sort out excess products.
- Assist with workspace, plant clean-up, and upkeep.
- Adhere to all sanitation and product quality policies.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads.
- Maintain plant safety at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
- At least 18 years old
Preferred
- Prior experience with food processing equipment
- Prior food safety experience
- Prior experience in a processing environment
Pay Range: $18.06 hourly
