- Fabrication production and/or commercial truck dealership experience is a plus.
- Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
- Selecting suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Working with inventory specialist to determine purchasing needs.
- Requesting cost proposals and negotiating contracts and prices.
- Will forward orders to suppliers, monitoring and expediting orders.
- Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
- Will resolve shipment errors with suppliers and authorizing payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
