Job Type: Full-time with Benifits
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Corporate Controls Engineering Manager and be based at our Wooster, Ohio Manufacturing Facility. As a Corporate Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting projects across all of Daisy Brand’s Manufacturing Facilities.
Responsibilities: As a Corporate Controls Engineer at Daisy Brand, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Developing, installing, and commissioning Plant Controls & Automation Systems.
- Providing technical support for Controls & Automation Systems using the Daisy Brand HELP Desk System.
- Designing and specifying Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware, and Communication Protocols.
- Developing and enforcing Process Controls Standards.
- Collaborating with and directing 3rd Party Controls Engineering partners.
- Minimum of 6 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or similar industry.
- Advanced Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required.
- Advanced HMI Development, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles.
- Familiarity with Design/Specification of Process Control Panels.
- Advanced experience in process area programming.
- Experience in Food & Beverage or a similar industry with high sanitary standards utilizing CIP cleaning and sterilization is preferred.
- Experience with Wonderware MES or a similar MES platform is preferred.
- Experience with .NET programming environment is preferred.
- Experience with SQL Databases and Scripting is preferred.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP Communication within a Plant Control System is preferred.
- Excellent formal and informal communication skills, professional attitude, and appearance.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office).
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university is required.
- Open to 25% travel.
