Summary/Objective
United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, and New Mexico. United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as consumers. United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation.
This position performs numerous accounting and clerical tasks to include, but not limited to, accounts receivable maintenance, participation in the accounts payable process, and providing essential front desk support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively manage both accounting and reception duties.
Essential Functions
The following are essential functions of this position:

• Create, update and review customer or vendor accounts.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and communicate with customers regarding payment status.
• Record and track incoming payments, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.
• Assist with weekly check run for accounts payable.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff members or department.
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Reconcile accounts, record journal entries, and other accounting functions as required.

Physical Demands
This position will primarily work in an office setting, with frequent interaction with other departments and customers. The receptionist aspect of the role will involve sitting for extended periods and performing tasks at a computer workstation.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience

• Associate degree in business or accounting or related experience required.
• Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting roles preferred.
• Understands accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Ability to use various computer programs specific to the position.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
