Maintenance and Inventory Coordinator

Location: Lewiston Woodville, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing maintenance planning and scheduling for all assets
  • Supervising the work management process using relevant software to ensure accurate and valid information
  • Analyzing and updating asset database and maintenance requirements
  • Collaborating closely with maintenance execution, reliability, engineering, and external departments to ensure efficient and effective work plans
  • Providing effective asset maintenance scheduling and reporting
  • Implementing software upgrades and enhancements
  • Making recommendations for process improvements
  • Providing reports on asset maintenance status
  • Maintaining systems for prioritizing and scheduling work using Maximo CMMS or other software
  • Reviewing and reporting on work order status
  • Ensuring data and information accuracy
  • Providing QA/QC of input data
  • Customizing user-interface to improve data accuracy
  • Assisting managers and supervisors in implementing best practices for asset management
  • Promoting consistency and timely service
  • Coordinating and developing IT interfaces with CMMS of other departments
  • Preparing maintenance forecast reports
  • Determining material needs for maintenance and inspection requirements
  • Coordinating material needs with Procurement and RS&S Operations
  • Participating in the development and administration of an assigned budget
  • Monitoring and approving expenditures
  • Providing scheduling and planning support for work orders
  • Managing entire work order life cycle
  • Tracking metrics for planning and scheduling improvements
  • Scheduling maintenance contract work
  • Conducting performance and business reviews with maintenance contracting companies
  • Collaborating with CAPEX team for manpower needs
  • Managing contract companies to align with corporate standards
  • Providing monthly KPI reports to maintenance manager
  • Coordinating special parts orders
  • Providing inventory valuation reports, cycle count variances, scrap, and obsolescence reports to management
  • Establishing and maintaining "Work-Flow Process Charts" and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 4 years of experience or equivalent targeted additional experience
  • Specialized training or education in maintenance preferred
  • Previous experience engaging and managing contractors
  • Previous experience with CMMS (Maximo preferred)
  • Previous budgeting experience
  • Work order generation and life cycle management
  • Expertise in generating project status reports
  • Previous experience maintaining a parts room
Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
