Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Painting Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas such as drywall, plaster, trim carpentry, and full residential painting jobs. We also HIGHLY prefer if you have a team of 2 to ensure that each job can be completed in a timely manner. Please still apply if you are a single man show. All of our jobs are in the Upper Valley area of Vermont, and we have a fully booked schedule for the summer!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, scraping, and patching
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces including walls, trim, doors, eaves, a full exterior and interior home
- Conduct drywall repairs and plastering as needed
- Maintain and repair trim carpentry elements
- Interpret schematics and follow project specifications
- Assist with remodeling projects by providing painting expertise
- Restore surfaces to their original aesthetics

Skills:
- Ability to maintain and repair trim carpentry features (not needed, but preferred)
- Experience interpreting schematics for painting projects
- Familiarity with remodeling processes
- Skill in fixture installation related to painting jobs
- Capability to restore surfaces effectively

Experience:

• Residential painting: 2 years (Required)
