Chattanooga Fire Protection is Hiring an Alarm Technician Near Woodstock, GA

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation of new commercial fire alarm systems, coupled with expertise in service and inspection tasks. While NICET certifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory for this role.

Duties:

  • Install new commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and identify any issues or deficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with fire alarm systems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate installation and service activities effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the installation of new commercial fire alarm systems, particularly in new construction settings.
  • Proficiency in performing service, maintenance, and inspection tasks on fire alarm systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • NICET certifications (Level II or higher) are desirable but not required.
  • Must know how to read and comprehend commercial blueprints.
  • Must be willing to train new apprentices.

Compensation is dependent on your experience and skill. Great benefits, 401k, medical, vision, dental. 2 weeks paid vacation after a year of service.
