Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to join our team!

The Environmental Services (EVS) Aide provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling, garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

Hours: CURRENT STAFFING NEEDS - Full-time, and one part-time vacancy. Full-time, 1.0 FTE 40 hours per week/80 per pay period. Part-time, 24 hours per week/48 hours per pay period.

Shifts - Staff work: 7:00am-3:30pm/12:00pm-8:30pm/3:00pm-11:30pm, every other weekend and every other holiday.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
• Prefer but not required, high school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum and frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach and twist/turn.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping department is beneficial but not required.

Howard Young Medical Center is an acute care facility located in Woodruff that provides a level of primary and specialty care not commonly found in a typical rural hospital.
