Currently the team is hiring a CI Manager in Walcott, IN. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the maintenance, design, and improvements in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a strong technical background in food production and manufacturing. Job DetailsResponsibilitiesAs a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.
  • Implementing and managing all maintenance activities to improve production efficiency.
  • Utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA and GMP regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP and SQF systems to ensure the highest quality of food products.
  • Developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Working closely with production and quality assurance teams to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.
  • Participating in the design and improvements of manufacturing processes and product lines.
  • Leading and training the maintenance team to ensure a high level of competence and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of food production and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience with Six Sigma, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
