Currently the team is hiring a CI Manager in Walcott, IN. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the maintenance, design, and improvements in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a strong technical background in food production and manufacturing. - Ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.
- Implementing and managing all maintenance activities to improve production efficiency.
- Utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and GMP regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Implementing and maintaining HACCP and SQF systems to ensure the highest quality of food products.
- Developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
- Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Working closely with production and quality assurance teams to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.
- Participating in the design and improvements of manufacturing processes and product lines.
- Leading and training the maintenance team to ensure a high level of competence and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food production and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience with Six Sigma, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
