Duties:
- Oversee and manage the packaging department operations-running of packaging machines and hand packing - Ensuring efficient and timely processing of outside paint processes
- Supervise a team of packaging associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and resolve any discrepancies
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor and optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate outbound shipments and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including delivery confirmations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of materials handling, inventory control, and packaging and shipping/receiving processes
- Excellent understanding of logistics principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping and order processing
