Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis related to non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) such as delineation, stability, recoverability, and natural source zone depletion (NSZD) evaluations.
- Prepare conceptual site models (CSMs).
- Prepare and review reports and technical presentations for delivery to clients and regulators.
- Manage on-site field staff during the implementation of investigation and design projects.
- Develop and task manage project plans, work scopes, schedules, and budgets with associated tracking and organizational tools.
- Work with staff and senior technical experts in offices throughout the nation to deliver high quality work products to local clients.
- Provide technical direction and training to staff, as necessary to complete assignments.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior staff.
- Delegate and coordinate project tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or similar science.
- 4 years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform technical analysis and write technical reports.
- Experience with plume stability evaluations, LNAPL transmissivity test implementation and evaluation, and/or NSZD test implementation.
- Programming capability (e.g., R or Python) to perform complex evaluations and/or automate routine tasks.
- Experience working with databases (e.g., EQuIS) and GIS is a plus.
- Professional registration (e.g., P.E., LSP, P.G., etc.) in area of expertise is a plus.
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or similar science is a plus.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s license.
- Willingness and ability to travel on short-term assignments as needed.
- Salary: $75K/yr - $110K/yr negotiable
