Heavy Assembler / Pallet Builder, $20 / hr, Wixom, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring Assemblers for a packaging product manufacturer in Wixom, MI. T he Assemblers will be responsible for preparing, test fitting, packaging crate / foam dunnage orders.

Responsibilities :

• Follow Assembly instructions in preparing, test fitting, packaging crate / foam dunnage orders for shipping
• Understanding of basic shop tools (impact driver, nail gun, etc.)
• Quality control during and after the build process. Keep accurate count of finished products as well as defects
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Must be able to s tand for long periods of time
• Lift approx. 50 lbs. consistently on a daily basis
• Past build, craftsman or carpentry experience a plus
• Arrive in a timely manner daily
• Communicate effectively
• Must have reliable means of transportation daily.
