Fanatics, Inc is Hiring a Traffic Coordinator Near Winona, MN
Under general supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Traffic Coordinator ensure products are quoted, shipped, and received with the proper paperwork completed, on time, at the appropriate service level and at the best possible price – per regulations; to WinCraft or customer requirements.
Essential Job Functions Knows, maintains, and complies with all domestic and international transportation regulations.
Accurately completes required documents for international and domestic shipments.
Reviews orders to insure compliance with customers’ shipping instructions – I.E. routing requests, international shipments, and special pick-ups.
Processes freight quotes – understands the requested detail, product line(s), and supply-chain(s) to advise the most cost-effective shipping method.
Responsible for the timely and accurate handling of freight tracers and claims.
Monitor freight carriers for on-time delivery and service to ensure that they match WinCraft’s performance standards.
Document freight costs from invoices for carrier analysis review - audits freight/carrier invoices for accuracy, as required.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements An Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required. Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook, typing, ten-key, and high level of comfort working in web-based systems.
Prior knowledge of 3rd party shipping systems and web-based shipping software, preferred.
Must be able to work on multiple tasks and functions at one time, with the ability to prioritize work determined by the demand of operations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management, co-workers and external contacts.
Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks and duties with limited supervision.
Proficient data entry skills.
Requires above average math skills.
Physical Requirements Ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time.
Ability to utilize a computer continuously.
Ability to sit and/or stand continuously.
