WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Construction Estimator, you play a pivotal role in our company's success by identifying potential projects, creating accurate estimations, and coordinating seamlessly with our preconstruction team. This is a highly collaborative role where you work with management, superintendents, and clients to generate detailed estimates and demonstrate why we're the best choice for the job. Meeting all bid schedules and due dates, you review project scopes, analyze vendor pricing, and perform quantity take-offs. You prepare bid packages, stay on top of pricing changes, and follow up on submitted bids, doing your part to secure profitable projects for our company!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a field like engineering or construction management OR equivalent work experience
  • Ability to read and understand project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
  • Time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple estimates
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with all MS Office products
  • Team spirit, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to commute to the office

Experience with concrete or earthwork would be preferred. Experience using estimation or project management software would be a plus!
