We have positions open for machine operators/programmers to fill in our machining department. Machine operation/programming experience preferred. We are looking for applicants who are interested in working with some of our technical machining equipment that produces the parts needed to build products for our customers. Experience, or no experience, we will train anyone who has some basic skills, has a desire to learn an excellent and rewarding trade, and is positive and self motivated.Machine operation/programming experience preferred. Machines include, panel saw, CNC routers, edgebander, doweler/inserter and more.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience Preferred but will train the right candidate. The following skills preferred:
• The ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to learn and understand the products and methods used in millwork manufacturing.
• Understanding of equipment used to process components used in millwork manufacturing.
• The ability to competently and safely operate all associated equipment and tools.
• The ability to measure and machine to tight tolerances.
• Understanding of the steps involved in fabrication of a project from layout to installation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.
• Must have skill working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with general plant safety policies.
• The ability to fabricate components within a scheduled duration.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for most of the shift, approximately 9-10 hours.
• Walking in close vicinity for entire shift.
• The ability to lift 80 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist to shoulder, and 40 pounds overhead.
• Visual accuracy to read dimensions on a tape measure as well as assembly sheets.
• Using keyboard and monitor to program machinery.
• Changing blades, bits, and other tooling on an as needed basis.
• Reaching overhead on a limited basis to grasp materials.
• Walking up and down stairs on a limited basis.
• Working with both hands for the majority of the shift.
