Winder Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Winder, GA

Position Overview:

Winder Dental Care is seeking an experienced and talented full-time or part-time Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist our dentist in delivering exceptional patient care and support the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Take high quality digital dental x-rays and CBCT
  • Take and document patient health/dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
  • Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
  • Provide patients with post-op instructions following procedures
  • Assist with other office administrative tasks and projects to contribute to the overall efficiency of the dental practice

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • X-ray certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Punctual and timely, efficient and productive in day-to-day tasks
  • Very organized and able to juggle multiple tasks/projects at once
  • Proficient in using Open Dental
  • CPR certification preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Hours:

Monday - Tuesday 8-6 (1 hr lunch)
Wednesday - Thursday 8-5 (1hr lunch)
Open every other Friday 8-2
