Atlantic Group is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst Near Wilmington, MA

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company in Wilmington, MA looking for a talented AR Analyst to join their team.

Overview:

The AR Analyst will ensure timely and accurate processing of cash application reporting, data analysis, and other tasks as directed by senior management. The ideal candidate will possess skills in accounts receivable and large data set analysis within financial support models, emphasizing precision and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support for accounts receivable to senior management.
  • Generate monthly reports including key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis.
  • Perform daily cash application reconciliations and prepare management reports.
  • Oversee and manage aging reports for AR support groups.
  • Develop and present accounts receivable reports using spreadsheets and database analyses, ensuring data accuracy and identifying trends impacting future funding.
  • Collaborate with leaders to create models that support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and make recommendations based on analyses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of fiscal month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deliverables, including data preparation and analysis.
  • Maintain a collaborative, service-focused relationship with key stakeholders, representatives, and customers to resolve financial questions or issues regarding customer accounts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to cash application or AR tasks.
  • Identify and implement improvements to departmental procedures for cash applications and related AR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or finance reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience with database queries, Excel Macros, advanced formulas, and ERP systems like Oracle, Peoplesoft, or SAP.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), capable of interacting with senior management, customers, team partners, and vendor representatives.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively research and resolve customer account inquiries with a service excellence mindset.
