This position can be located at our corporate headquarters in the West Fulton Market District of Chicago, IL, or at our Wilmington, OH and Scranton, PA manufacturing facilities with a hybrid work schedule.Position SummaryThe ERP Project Manager is a core team member of the Information Services department whose primary mission is to help in the definition of projects as well as provide project leadership, management and oversight to the organization's portfolio of projects with a focus on ERP initiatives. Responsibilities will be for end-to-end management, from business analysis, project planning, resource management, reporting/presentations, and managing budget/costs as well risk and issues. The position will work closely will all levels of the business to drive projects successfully and therefore need to be able to communicate effectively and concisely. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Program Management Office and User Support.
Essential Functions
  • Provide business process analysis in the initial assessment, process review, and preparation for projects.
  • Support project planning: Create Project Charters, Project Plans and define roles & responsibilities of stakeholders in each project.
  • Coordinate internal resources for various departments and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Coordinate large cross-functional projects such as system upgrades and new system implementations.
  • Provide organization change management guidance related to project implementations.
  • Keep current projects and processes on track with a clear focus on determined deliverables.
  • Perform hands-on project management such as managing project timeline and scope to ensure project deliverables stay on-time, on-target and on-budget.
  • Identify risks, Issues, and dependencies and determine mitigation strategy.
  • Ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within project timeframes & budget.
  • Maintain the PMO dashboard on Smart Sheet and ensure all project statuses are up to date.
  • Communicate effectively any risk & issues that could impact timeline, scope or budget to the appropriate project sponsor.
  • Effectively manage change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project.
  • Work closely with 3rd part vendors to identify costs, review contracts and to ensure they deliver in accordance to business requirements in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related field, PMP is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in ERP initiatives.
  • Experience leading project across multiple business facets including IT, Manufacturing Operations, Marketing and Finance is a plus.
  • 1-2 years experience as a business analyst a plus.
  • Expertise using Project Management Tools. MS project or Smartsheet is preferred.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Proven success in leading various business and technical projects.
  • Experience working with and presenting to Senior Management.
  • Experience with developing and tracking budgets.
  • Proven project leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with developing plans and managing through organizational change management.
  • Excellent vendor management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
