Being a driving coach is a great fit for former or current part-time teachers, coaches, or healthcare workers, as well as retired Police Officers. Your skills that once helped kids in the classroom and helped keep our community safe can be applied to teaching teens behind the wheel.

Training will be provided and all costs associated with training and licensing will be covered.

Responsibilities and Duties:

An effective driving coach is someone who has a positive mindset, can communicate clearly, remains calm in stressful situations, provides encouragement, identifies teachable moments, and understands the difference between simply teaching and coaching.

During training, you will learn the Safe Driving Coach process for instructing students. Once trained and able to pass the PA Driving Instructor Test, you will be working 1-on-1 with teens in the car, instructing them on safe, defensive driving skills.

Benefits:

Flexible Part-Time positions are available. We operate seven days a week. You can indicate your availability for each day of the week. For Part-Time positions, there is a minimum of 12 hours of availability needed per week during the hours of 9 AM and 6:30 PM. Weekends are required.

All training is paid for, including the costs associated with obtaining your PA Driving Instructor License. A company car equipped with a passenger-side brake is provided for you to use for lessons.

We offer competitive pay, starting at $20/hour.

Requirements:

• Valid PA Driver’s License
• Ability to pass: Federal background check with fingerprint screening, State criminal record check, Child abuse clearance, 3 year PA driving/DMV report (we will accept current documentation)
• Vaccinated and Boosted
