ResponsibilitiesHandle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment as they are assisting the surgeon during an invasive procedure. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
QualificationsCurrent Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registration by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
Current Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)
Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Surgical Technologist
No experience required
Strong oral communications skills Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Strong critical thinking skills
Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities
PREFERRED: Certification for Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
