Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at VHG TeleMed Home Visit. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in medical procedures, taking patient histories and vital signs, managing medical records, and providing patient care. You will work closely with the provider to ensure comprehensive and accurate medical examinations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Assisting, including proficiency in medical procedures and patient care
• Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and ability to accurately document patient information
• Experience in a Medical Office setting, with knowledge of administrative tasks and medical record management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with telemedicine devices is a plus
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Phlebotomy skills are a plus
