Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply primer or sealer to prepare surfaces for painting
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to painting
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for painting projects
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
