Job Summary
- To provide support to the Outpatient Senior Program Director in the coordination of services within the Outpatient Program.
- The coordinator will assist with orientating new staff and interns, audit records, review electronic health records, and assist with program administrative tasks.
- The Outpatient Coordinator will also provide assessment and evidence-based treatment for individuals, families, and couples following the Principals of Trauma Informed Care.
- Graduate degree with current New Jersey license; LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCADC, CADC with ability to acquire advanced license within one year from date of hire.
- Minimum two years post graduate, direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge, training, and application of evidence-based treatment.
- Knowledge of Trauma Informed practice and treatment.
- Able to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural behavioral health setting.
- Proficient in use of computer, familiar with use of an electronic health system.
- Ability to complete documentation independently, accurately, and adhere to timeframes.
- Willingness to utilize clinical supervision to promote independent decision making and enhance system collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge, skill, and ability; DSM V/ICD-10, systems of care, risk factors, evidence-based assessment tools.
- A valid NJ driver's license.
- Provide competent, direct clinical services to adults, children, and adolescents through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family.
- Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure. Adhere to HIPAA regulations in all related member matters.
- Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.
- Maintain professional license; obtain advanced license, participate in staff professional development trainings and workshops as mandated/required.
- Maintain weekly productivity standards of 65% which is adjusted based on number of hours expected to work on coordinator activities.
- Maintain show rate target of 72% for clinical time with clients.
- Assist Outpatient Senior Program Director with administrative tasks, electronic health record reports, chart audits and report data as needed.
- Attend monthly/weekly supervision meetings with Outpatient Senior Program Director and monthly staff meetings.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Outpatient Senior Program Director.
