SummaryTranservice is seeking to hire a hard-working, dedicated individual to plan, organize, coordinates and perform a wide variety of complex and confidential admin functions in support of the Fleet Maintenance Department.
Essential Functions
- Closing work R epair orders . Check repair orders for accuracy to ensure that all parts are charged to the correct job order .
- Ordering and picking up parts.
- Inputting parts into the TMT (preventive maintenance software) system forthe operation.
- Putting away parts and checking inventory levels.
- Keeping track of new and used parts to ensure we are getting the appropriate credit through our vendors. Work with the vendors to ensure they have picked up used parts and issued credits where warranted.
- Monitor oil analysis program and report findings weekl y.
- Answering the phone and helping out with online road calls where needed. Communicate updates with the customer.
- Work closely with the Warranty department to ensure that credits are applied correctly .
- Responsible for maintaining equipment files
- Assist with maintaining all environment files
- Responsible for all personal protective equipment inventory .
- File vehicle condition reports daily.
- Submit the out of service and in- service transfer forms as required.
- Required to work with the customer to ob tain claim numbers for all damaged equipment . Work with the customer and insurance companyuntil repairs are completed and equipment is put back in service.
- Review the Out of Service Equipment list daily. Follow up with vendors regarding equipment status and update Out of Service Equipment.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years administrative/clerical experience in a truck maintenance shop **Required**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail producing accurate and efficient work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Mechanical aptitude
