Job Overview
Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery and equipment. Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment, physical structures, plumbing, refrigeration and electrical systems, in accordance with blueprints, schematic drawings, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
Night Shift Only ! Hourly rate can range from $20.00 - $32.00 depending on experience! Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday- Sunday (Four 10 hour shifts).
Responsibilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines;
following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Qualifications
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school;OR six months to one year related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, talk or hear and will be working from heights.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste / smell; and frequently required to climb and must be able to reach all levels in the bay.
The employee will frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and regularly lifts to 50 pounds.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places;
toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires that hearing protection be worn in production areas at all times.
