1st Shift Quality Inspector

Sharpline Converting is seeking an energetic candidate for a Quality Inspector on 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Sharpline Converting, Inc. is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of innovative vinyl graphic image products.

Responsibilities:

· Inspection and judgment of work, including rework

· Processing and inspection of returned goods from customers

· Processing and inspection of purchased material

· Reporting quality issues in purchased material to suppliers

· Communicating quality issues to production personnel and management

· Providing 1st part inspections for production processes

· Assisting with troubleshooting of production processes

· Conducting first article inspection of new parts

· Conducting lab tests and experiments (sometimes with chemicals)

· ISO audits

· Compiling compliance information for customers

Requirements:

· Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

· Must be able to understand part prints and written work instructions

· Must have basic computer skills (Email, MS Office)

· Must be able to do basic math

· Must be able to read a scale or tape measure

· Must be able to work effectively with others and alone

· Must be able to stay on task with little supervision

· Must be willing to have flexible work assignments

· Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

· Must have good attendance and stable work history
