POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
Gain exposure to internal operations at Atlas-Aerospace through hands on experience in manufacturing, engineering, drafting, planning and other areas of the company. This will be a full-time position during the summer with the opportunity for continued part-time work during the school year.

Office and shop environment
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience:
Three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop, weld shop, precision sheet metal, assembly shop) or equivalent.
Education: Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited college.
