DescriptionThe System Analyst will have a strong background in Python and will work as a member of the PEO-MS Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office System Engineering (System Engineering) Directorate analysis team to code scripts to assist with the verifications of system requirements in support of Army AMD missions.
Duties May Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Support analysis and verification of requirements, development scripting in support of test and analysis objectives, support the Joint Analysis Team (JAT), and support the WSMR Field Office Test Team.
- The position will require the development of deserialization of log files and scripting specific code to meet the analytical development of documentation such as verification plans, analyses, reports, and technical briefings for IFMC SE leadership. This position will also require the development and modification of software tools for data parsing and analysis.
- This position will directly support analysis of Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) and live Range testing of current and developmental AMD systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Candidate must be a US citizen, must be a resident of the WSMR area (El Paso TX, Las Cruces NM, or Alamogordo NM) or willing to relocate.
- Must have a BS from an accredited university in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics field, with 4 years of experience.
- Candidates with relevant DoD/Army experience are strongly desired, but new hires with exceptional skills will also be considered.
- Background in Python programming a must.
- Other desired qualifications, ability to reverse engineer current scripts/code to improve data reduction and support existing scripts for maintenance and production of data.
- Ability to self-motivate and work with other analysts for extraction of information from datasets to support the generation of reports necessary for validation and verification of the PEO-MS Army Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) systems and developmental AMD systems.
- Enthusiasm, independent critical thinker, and a team attitude are important, as well as the ability to respond to quick turn requests.
