Otter Lake Technologies, LLC is Hiring a Maintenance Technician I Near White, MN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations. The candidate will be able to diagnose repairs and maintain die-casting machines that cast parts, such as battery terminals from nonferrous metals, such as lead.
Duties:
Ø Conducts preventive maintenance on assigned Die Cast Machines and support equipment.
Ø Repairs, rebuilds or replaces worn or defective machine and equipment components.
Ø Troubleshoot hydraulics.
Ø Troubleshoot electric circuits.
Ø Troubleshoot pressure, directional and flow control valves.
Ø Assist more experienced maintenance mechanics.
Ø Will be asked to assist in other departments as needed.
Ø Order parts as needed by the department.
Ø Other duties as assigned.
POSITION CRITERIA:
Ø Two years of technical training and one or more years of related machine maintenance experience, or equivalent.
Ø Die Cast experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory.
Ø Ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints.
Ø Ability to use mathematics needed for position.
Ø Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ø Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Ø Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ø Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
