We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of our 180-unit residential community located in Nottingham, MD. The Property Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, and efficiently managing administrative tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returns
  • Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentation
  • Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly
  • Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment
  • Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents

What you will bring along

  • 5 years of experience as Property Manager
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures and practices
  • Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external parties
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction procedures
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residents
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using property management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and OneSite
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe
