White Marsh Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate is a enthusiastic, self-motivated, dependable individual who is looking to help our team offer the best patient care.

Job Responsibilities: Including but are not limited to

• taking initial client calls and coordinating visits
• assisting in the clinic running smoothly
• fielding phone calls regarding patients
• keeping our lobby clean & sanitized in between appointments
• checking in and out clients throughout the day
• safely handling patients
• Become knowledgeable of services, treatments, and medications in the veterinary field and be able to effectively communicate it to clients.
• Basic husbandry duties
• Be able to be at work on time and present for your scheduled shifts
• Interact with your peers and maintain an upbeat and positive environment
• Maintain integrity in your interactions with clients, patients, and staff as well in your role responsibilities
• Have strong demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Contribute to your own success as well as foster the success of your peers

Computer experience is a must, and experience with a multi-phone line system is essential. Must be available for morning, evening, and Saturday shifts. Possibility for cross training in other areas in the hospital. Salary is solely dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
