Position OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on plastic injection molding in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) in molding processes, exhibit strong leadership abilities, and be capable of guiding a team independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team in all aspects of molding.
- Oversee production from low to high volumes, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
- Serve as the SME in molding processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate molding processes seamlessly into project management.
- Take ownership of project execution from concept to completion, emphasizing process validation and quality assurance.
- Develop and optimize internal processes related to molding.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role with a focus on plastic injection molding.
- Mechanical background with a strong understanding of molding processes, languages, and tools.
- Proven project management experience within a medical device manufacturing environment.
