Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring premises, preventing theft, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to emergencies. Duties: - Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized activities - Conduct security checks of the premises to ensure doors, windows, and gates are properly secured - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Monitor and control access points, checking identification of individuals entering the premises - Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs - Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity - Conduct investigations into incidents or suspicious activities as required - Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment Experience: - Previous experience in security or related field preferred - Knowledge of first aid, CPR, conflict management, and loss prevention techniques - Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment - Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus - Possession of relevant security certifications is highly desirable We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
